Understanding and optimizing the psychosocial well-being of people with CF and their caregivers remains critical to advancing CF care. This workshop highlights the top psychosocial abstracts from 2025 and was designed to feature a range of research types, populations, and topics. It will provide participants with a snapshot of cutting-edge research in CF across the lifespan.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explore how a variety of methods can be utilized in CF psychosocial research including survey, mixed-methods, cross-sectional, intervention, and use of a national dataset
  • Describe contemporary research topics in CF across a range of populations including children, adolescents, and adults with CF as well as caregivers of people with CF
  • Understand the psychosocial support needs of people with CF and their caregivers across different domains including academic, self-image, social support, risky behaviors, and CF complications
