The landscape of cystic fibrosis (CF) care continues to evolve rapidly, fueled by groundbreaking research and innovative therapeutic strategies. This session will provide an overview of recent studies that are shaping both clinical practice and future directions in CF care. We will highlight several major efforts: an evaluation of burnout in CF care providers teams, a systematic review of interventions for depression and anxiety, basic science insights linking mental and physical health, and RETRIAL, a study exploring the restart of triple therapy with enhanced safety monitoring, offering key insights into integrating mental health support into CF care models. This symposium will spotlight the interplay between mental and physical health in CF. These updates reflect the expanding scope of CF research, spanning from fundamental science to drug development and behavioral health interventions, while being mindful of mental health impacts on providers.
