This workshop will delve into recent advancements and challenges in the treatment and management of CF. Through a series of abstracts, we will explore the gaps in treatment for type 2 inflammation, the financial and administrative impacts the pharmaceutical industry has on CF care, the role of pharmacogenomics in people with CF, and the pharmacokinetics of CFTR modulators in people with CF. Attendees will gain insights into the latest research findings and practical applications to improve patient outcomes.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the current practice patterns and variations in the use of biologic therapy for type 2 inflammation in people with CF
  • Assess the administrative burden and financial implications of changes in pharmaceutical distribution networks on CF care teams and patients
  • Analyze the impact of precision medicine, including pharmacogenomic profiling and pharmacokinetics, on medication management in people with CF
