This session invites presenters to go beyond polished narratives and instead engage with the honest, uncomfortable, and often “unsexy” aspects of doing equity work in real-world CF care settings. We aim to create space for vulnerability, reflection, and growth by spotlighting lessons learned, blind spots uncovered, and the challenges of pushing for change within entrenched systems.
We hope each presenter will answer the following questions:
• What blind spots did you personally discover while doing this work?
• What personal, systems, and structural-level advocacy do you hope others will be able to implement because of your work?
• How do you and your team hold yourselves accountable to stay uncomfortable—and to keep moving this work forward?
