This session will explore “risky behaviors” in adolescents and adults with CF, including the interaction of mental health, substance use, and body image concerns. Additionally, speakers will share the use of screening/assessment tools as well as opportunities for intervention.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify rescue medications and the use of tools for CF patients with high risk medications and substance misuse
  • Describe the relationship of body image and mental health and body image post CFTR modulators in patients with CF
  • Discuss the use of screening tools to address mental health, substance abuse and body image in patients with CF
