Amanda S. Bruce, PhD

University of Kansas Medical Center

Amanda Bruce, PhD: Dr. Bruce is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been embedded into the adult CF care team at the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) since 2016. She is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and of Internal Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She is also the Principal investigator for KUMC’s Success with therapies research consortium (STRC) through the CF Foundation. Dr. Bruce's research centers on health related decision-making, diet and exercise choices, treatment adherence, coping with pain, and examination of psychological interventions for persons living with chronic diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis and CF.
