Maggie is affiliated with the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. as a Clinical Associate Professor, Faculty of Medicine |Department of Physical Therapy,
Maggie has an insatiable passion for teaching, evidence-based practice, and Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy. She has been involved in research on the effects of airway clearance techniques on patients with obstructive lung disease since 1986. She has published numerous papers on the subject and has lectured extensively throughout the world. This led to her ultimately obtaining a PhD in 2015.. Maggie has worked as a Physiotherapist with the British Columbia’s Cystic Fibrosis clinic for 38 years and teaches regularly at the University of British Columbia. Until recently, Maggie was the Research Manager for Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s clinical trial network. Presently, Maggie continues her research activities while continuing in her Private Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy practice.
