Malinda Wu, MD, MSCR, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD. She completed her clinical training in pediatric endocrinology and her Master of Science in Clinical Research at Emory University. Dr. Wu’s clinical and research expertise are in pediatric osteoporosis and endocrine complications of cystic fibrosis (CF). She has received the CF Foundation’s Harry Shwachman Clinical Investigator and EnVISION awards to study CF-related bone disease. She seeks to understand why young adults with CF are at greater risk for low-trauma fractures than people without CF, and how to best prevent these fractures.
