Rebecca (Becca) Mueller, PhD, LCGC, is an Assistant Professor and the Director of Research for the Masters Genetic Counseling Program at the University of Pennsylvania where she also teaches in the program’s Advanced Research Training Program for Genetic Counselors Certificate Program. Becca’s background is in genetic counseling, medical humanities, and the ethical, legal, and social implications of genetics. She recently completed a T32 postdoctoral fellowship in the Ethical, Legal, and Social Implications of Genetics and Genomics at the University of Pennsylvania and currently has a K01 from the National Human Genome Research Institute to investigate how adults with cystic fibrosis and other childhood-onset genetic conditions plan their futures amid shifting prognostic expectations.
