Mosaic Life Care
Aya Abdulla, PharmD is a first-year pharmacy resident at Mosaic Life Care and an adult living with cystic fibrosis. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in May 2025 from the University of Missouri–Kansas City, a milestone shaped by her lived experience as a patient. Her journey with CF has fueled a deep passion for patient advocacy, equitable healthcare, and clinical excellence. Aya uses her dual perspective as both a patient and healthcare provider to bridge gaps in care, improve patient education, and ensure that all patients — especially those with chronic illnesses — receive the therapy and support they need. She is proud of never giving up, of showing up even when it was hard, and of proving to herself that the very thing she once thought held her back — her health — is the same thing that made her who she is today. She raises CF awareness by sharing her experiences and educating others about the realities of living with the disease. Beyond pharmacy, Aya enjoys writing, reading, photography, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
