Leesa M. Prunty, PharmD, BCPS, BCPPS

University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital

Leesa Prunty, PharmD, BCPS, BCPPS is the CF Pharmacist at University Hospitals (UH) Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Leesa completed her residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. Following residency, she worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Marshall University School of Pharmacy. She moved to Rainbow in 2017, and she has developed the CF pharmacist role to incorporate both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy care for both children and adults with CF. She precepts numerous pharmacy residents from the UH System each year. Leesa is passionate about quality improvement (QI) and is the Rainbow CFLN QIL. She is also the proud recipient of the award “most likely to have 40 tabs open at once” from her CF team.
