Deirdre Jennings

UVAHealth Adult Cystic Fibrosis Clinic

Deirdre ‘Didi’ is a social worker at the UVA Health Adult CF Clinic. She has a background in both mental health and medical social work. Her educational background and clinical experience are grounded in cultural humility and a collaborative approach to care. Didi began working for UVA in 2018 and joined the Adult CF Clinic team in September of 2020. Since joining the adult CF care team, her work has focused around improving health related quality of life and addressing barriers to care, social risk factors and health disparities for people within the CF population. She is currently leading a quality improvement project implementing routine social needs screening and interventions for people with CF.
