Dr. Stotsky is an attending pediatric psychologist in the Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Center and Division of Pulmonary Medicine. She specializes in providing clinical care to children, adolescents, and young adults with cystic fibrosis and their families, as well as working with pediatric patients with other acute and chronic pulmonary conditions. Dr. Stotsky’s research focuses on understanding patterns of risk and resilience influencing psychological adjustment, peer relationships, disease self-management, and health outcomes in youth with CF. Her research also examines how friendships with healthy peers and the perception of shared experiences with peers diagnosed with chronic illnesses are related to psychological and treatment outcomes. Dr. Stotsky is an co-primary investigator on the CF Foundation’s Success with Therapies Research Consortium (STRC). She is passionate about clinical, research, and educational work that promotes adjustment in youth with CF and their families and collaborating with multidisciplinary CF colleagues.
