Primary Children's Hospital
Allison Usher PT, DPT is a pediatric physical therapist and the Cystic Fibrosis lead therapist at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from Saint Louis University with a bachelor's in Exercise Science in 2013 and her doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015. She has been practicing in pediatrics for the past 10 years, focusing more closely on providing care to the CF population over the past 5 years. She works in both the outpatient CF clinic and inpatient pediatric acute care settings, providing engaging patient-centered care for the patients and families she sees across clinical settings. She is actively involved in multidisciplinary QI work at Primary Children's CF Center that is focused on optimizing health and promoting overall patient- and family-centered wellness among the CF population. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and spending time outdoors as much as possible with her husband, 1 year old son, and Gordon setter pup hiking, running, swimming, and participating in triathlons, trying her best to model the active lifestyle that she encourages in CF care.
