Dr. Michelle Mann is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the division of Pediatric Pulmonology at Baylor College of Medicine, and serves as the Associate Medical Director of the Cystic Fibrosis Center at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, TX. She is also a CF clinical investigator with a particular interest in improving care, nutrition, quality of life, and mental health of patients with CF. She has served on the Protocol Review Committee with the CF Therapeutic Development Network and receives support from the CF Foundation for clinical research. She serves as a facilitator for the Partnership Enhancement Program (PEP) with the aim to improve Relationship-Centered Care across CF centers. The PEP program highlights the importance of the emotional experience in providing excellent clinical care for patients with cystic fibrosis.
She is excited to continue working as a PEP facilitator and contribute to building trust and relationships in order to improve care for patients and improve access to clinical trials and thus access to advancements in new therapies for people with cystic fibrosis.
