Catherine Glass, RRT, RPFT

Rady Children's Hospital San Diego

Catherine Glass, RRT, RPFT, respiratory therapist at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego. After high school I volunteered every summer as a camp counselor in a Cystic Fibrosis camp for 7 years. I there found my interest in respiratory therapy and Cystic Fibrosis. I graduated Grossmont college Respiratory Therapy program in 1995 and started working at Rady Children’s hospital soon after. Starting as a new graduate I worked as an RT on the floors for 3 years. I have been in the pulmonary function lab for 27 years. I have been on the CF team for 27 years and also working in all areas of the pulmonary function lab. I have been performing sweat testing for approximately 15 years. It has been amazing to see the advances made in Cystic Fibrosis in these years!
