Abby Rose, MS, CCLS, is a Certified Child Life Specialist serving in the Cystic Fibrosis and Dialysis specialty clinics at Seattle Children’s Hospital. With a strong foundation in psychology and child development, Abby brings both clinical expertise and compassionate care to her work with children and families managing chronic illness.
Originally from Wisconsin, Abby earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire and her Master of Science in Child Life from Edgewood College in Madison. She completed her 640-hour child life internship at Tucson Medical Center in Arizona, where she gained hands-on experience in a variety of pediatric care settings.
Following a child life position in South Dakota, Abby joined Seattle Children’s Hospital, where she now collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support pediatric patients and their families through complex medical journeys. Her work is grounded in evidence-based practice, trauma-informed care, and a deep commitment to advocacy and equity within healthcare.
Abby is passionate about advancing the field of child life and continues to engage in professional development, mentorship, and interdisciplinary education.
