Sandra Salzedo, MS RDN CLEC CACFD

Sandra Salzedo, MS RDN CLEC CACFD is a highly experienced clinical dietitian with over 24 years of professional practice. She has been an integral part of the esteemed Rady Children's Hospital team since 2001, demonstrating unwavering dedication to patient care and clinical excellence.
Sandra holds a Bachelor of Science in Foods and Nutrition (1998) as well as a Master's in Nutritional Sciences (2001), both from San Diego State University. She completed her dietetic internship in 1999, earning her CDR Registration in 2000. Additionally, she became a certified Lactation Education Counselor in 2007, showcasing her expertise in supporting lactation and infant feeding. In 2024, she completed the National Board Certification in Cystic Fibrosis in Nutrition, underscoring her unwavering dedication to advancing care for individuals with CF.
Her extensive experience includes a remarkable 24-year tenure with the department of pediatric pulmonology at Rady Children's Hospital San Diego's CF Center, where she has provided exceptional care to patients with cystic fibrosis. She has also been an invaluable member of Rady's Feeding Team Clinic for over a decade, displaying her commitment to improving feeding outcomes for children with complex feeding difficulties.
In addition to her specialized work in pulmonology and feeding, Sandra is also renowned for her expertise in outpatient nutrition counseling for pediatric patients. Her compassionate and personalized approach to patient care has earned her a reputation as a trusted and respected professional in her field.
