Isabel Virella-Lowell, MD

University of Alabama at Birmingham/Children's of Alabama

Isabel Virella-Lowell, MD, is a Professor in Pediatric Pulmonology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham /Children's of Alabama. She also serves as the Pediatric Director of the UAB Therapeutics Development Center and the UAB Airways Clinical Research Center. She also serves as a member of the UAB Institutional Review Board. Dr. Lowell has 24 years of experience in CF clinical research and has been an eQUIP coach since 2020. She also serves on the NACFC Program Planning Committee and the TDN Steering Committee.
