Sammie Allen, MDiv, MSW, LICSW

Boston Children's Hospital

Samantha Allen, MDiv, LICSW (Sammie, she/her) is a clinical social worker with the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center at Boston Children’s Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital, where she has been for 3 years. Sammie also owns a private psychotherapy practice, specializing in Internal Family Systems therapy, self-compassion, and navigating multicultural experiences. Her professional background spans outpatient therapy, crisis intervention, and case management, particularly for individuals impacted by chronic illness, mental health needs and houselessness. Sammie is dedicated to advocating for systemic changes that improve healthcare access and well-being for underresourced and historically marginalized populations. Personally, Sammie also enjoys sitting on the couch with a good book and her two cats, practicing yoga, live music, autumn hiking, and pursuing her dream of being a contestant on the classic TV show, Survivor.
