Brooke Jones MSW, LCSW is a current Doctoral candidate with research interests in gender-based violence, health behavior, and maternal mental health. She is a licensed mental health therapist with experience working in healthcare, academic, and non-profit settings. She has been committed to the care of those living with CF since 2016 when hired as the mental health coordinator for the UNC Adult CF Center. She later transitioned to a research position related to the multicenter study “Coping and Learning to Manage Stress with Cystic Fibrosis” where she provided stress management skills to those living with CF. In addition to working with those affected by CF, she has also worked for a local domestic violence and sexual assault organizations and at Duke University as a Gender Based Interventionist.
