Lauren Lazar, MD, MBA is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition in Dallas, TX at Unviersity of Texas Southwestern and its affiliate Children's Health. As a former recipient of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Clinical Fellowship Training Grant, her pediatric gastroenterology fellowship concentrated on gastroinestinal manifestitions of cystic fibrosis with a particular interest in hepatobiliary manifestations of cystic fibrosis. She continues to see patients in the cystic fibrosis center at Children's Health as one of three gastroenterologists within the center and actively participates in research and quality improvement with her colleagues there. She is also the Chair for the Pediatric Gastroenterology Quality Improvement Committee and serves on the Children's Health Physician Quality Council. Outside of the cystic fibrosis space, she is the Medical Director of the Children's Health Park Cities Multispecialty Clinic and serves on the board of the Children's Health Complex Care Clinic.
