Mayel Yepez is a dedicated Senior Clinical Research Coordinator with over three years of experience supporting advancements in cystic fibrosis (CF) care and research. She has played and actively role in several key programs and initiatives that promote clinical coordination, patient engagement, and continuous quality improvement.
Mayel’s professional journey includes participation in the New CF Care Member Program – Nuts and Bolts session at NACFC (November 2022) and the Partnership Enhancement Program (PEP), where she strengthened collaborative care skills (November 2022). She served as a mentoring program apprentice in the RC Mentoring Program (March–November 2023), supporting peer development and leadership growth in clinical research coordination.
Her leadership also includes presenting at the RC/Reg Open Forum (August 2023), where she shared 0contributing valuable insights to the CF research community. Additionally, she completed the Quality Improvement Foundation Training Series (January–March 2024), demonstrating her commitment to continuous improvement in clinical research practices.
Currently, I am participating in the Mastering PEP: Advanced Communication for CF Research Coordinators Program.
Mayel’s dedication to family support in research was also recognized through her involvement in the TDN, further highlight her impact and commitment to the CF Community.
