Sarah E. Clark, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Clark received her PhD training at the University of Pennsylvania under the mentorship of Dr. Jeffrey N. Weiser and completed a postdoctoral fellowship with Dr. Laurel Lenz at the University of Colorado. Dr. Clark's research focuses on how interactions between airway commensal and pathogenic bacteria influence respiratory tract infection outcomes. Specifically, the Clark lab investigates how different bacterial exposures alter host barrier and innate immune responses upon pathogen challenge.
