Adult Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellow, Pediatric Pulmonary Fellow
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
I completed my undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Notre Dame and attended medical school at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. I subsequently stayed at UNC for residency in internal medicine and pediatrics after developing an interest in caring for patients with childhood conditions into adulthood, and specifically cystic fibrosis. Following residency, I completed a chief year as the Med Peds chief resident at UNC. I am currently in my fourth year of combined fellowship training in adult pulmonary and critical care and pediatric pulmonology at UNC. I am fortunate to count mentors in both the pediatric pulmonary and adult pulmonary divisions, including Scott Donaldson, Jennifer Goralski, Chuck Esther, Magee Leigh, and Ken Olivier. My research and clinical interests include cystic fibrosis and non-cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis, long term impacts of modulator therapy in CF, nutrition related outcomes in CF and NCFB, as well as transitions from pediatric to adult care for patients with chronic medical conditions.
