Laura Blanch (MSc) is a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in the Newcastle Adults Cystic Fibrosis Centre, North East of England. Laura gained her Masters Degree in Physiotherapy at Northumbria University in 2006, completing her junior rotations in the Newcastle Hospitals Trust and progressing to a senior role in respiratory, before specialising in CF in 2012. She now leads a team of CF physiotherapists providing care for over 350 people with CF who attend the Regional Adult CF Service based at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Laura has a keen interest in digital health and has been involved in the set up and provision of the centre’s telehealth service, driving adaptations and developments as required to meet patient need. She also participates in the European CF Society’s Telehealth working group, working towards frameworks for developing standards of care for telehealth in CF.
