Ruma Srivastava, M.D, Pediatric Pulmonologist at the Children's Hospital of Michigan, Assistant Professor Central Michigan University
Dr. Srivastava completed medical school (M.B.B.S) at J.N Medical College, India and completed her Pediatrics residency at University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas in 2006. She then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in 2009. Upon completion of her fellowship training, she joined as faculty with the Division of Pediatric Pulmonology at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan where she has been involved in taking care of patients with cystic fibrosis and with other complex pulmonary conditions. She has also been involved in teaching Pediatric Residents and medical students, and has presented locally and nationally. She is a co-investigator with multiple studies via the cystic fibrosis TDN (Therapeutic Drug Network). She was appointed center director of the Pediatric CF program in June 2024 and since then has been involved in initiating quality improvement programs to improve care of patients with cystic fibrosis.
