Caroline Chaloner, PT, DPT, NTMTC, C-ELBW, PCS is a Lead Physical Therapist at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. She is the primary physical therapist in the Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Clinic at MaineHealth Pediatric Specialty Care Portland. Caroline received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duke University in 2014 and has been working with pediatric and adult patients with CF in the acute care setting since that time. She has been seeing patients in the pediatric CF clinic at MMP since 2016. Caroline and her colleague Jess Takatsuki-Jordan were selected for the CFF Award for a Physical Therapist in 2019. Caroline's QI work over the last several years has addressed both patient/family satisfaction with PT services in CF clinic during the COVID-19 pandemic and management of urinary incontinence in the pediatric CF population. Caroline has served as a mentor for the CFF PT mentoring program. She is also the current PT representative on the CFF Guidelines Steering Committee. In her clinical role at the hospital, she practices predominantly in the NICU as well as on the general pediatric unity and PICU.
