Dr. Nicholas Antos, MD, FAAP is an associate professor of pediatrics, Director of the Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Program at Children’s Wisconsin and the Medical College of Wisconsin, the Medical Director of the Wisconsin Asthma Coalition’s SE Wisconsin School-based Asthma Management Program (SAMPRO). After growing up and training in Illinois, Dr. Antos came to Wisconsin for fellowship training and since then has dedicated his career to the care of children with chronic respiratory diseases, especially cystic fibrosis and asthma. His work focuses on using quality improvement methods to improve the care and outcomes of children with these diseases, specializing in CF newborn screening and asthma in schools. He has been a leader in the CF program for more than a decade and is proud to have had funding and leadership roles through the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, CF Learning Network, American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI), Wisconsin Asthma Coalition, and others. Dr. Antos has a special interest in CF Newborn Screening and the management of those with CRMS/CFSPID.
