Laney Vernon, BSN, RN, AE-C

UW Health Kids

Laney is a Registered Nurse at UW Health Kids in Madison, WI specializing in pulmonary care. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing through Clemson University. She has been with the UW Health Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Program for over 5 years now and currently serves as the lead CF nurse within the pulmonary nursing team. Prior to that, she started her nursing career in neonatal intensive care. She has been an active member of the CF Quality Improvement team and CF Pharmacy Quality Improvement team. She was nominated for a 2025 Nurse Excellence award for her dedication to the CF patient population. Laney will be transitioning to a new role as the Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Program Coordinator/Nurse Navigator in mid December.
