Christiana C. Ekezie, MBBS, MSc

Children's Hospital of Wisconsin

Christiana Ekezie is a third-year pediatric gastroenterology fellow at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI. Originally from southeastern Nigeria, she earned her medical degree from Abia State University College of Medicine in Uturu. After graduating, she worked in various resource-limited hospitals across Nigeria, including a HIV clinic in a rural community. Christiana holds a Masters degree in Global Health and Management from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. She completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. Her current clinical and research interests include general gastroenterology, cystic fibrosis–related GI disease, and obesity-related research. She was an honored recipient of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s fellowship award for her first and second year of training.
