Hoyeol Kim, PhD

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center

Dr. Hoyeol Kim is a postdoctoral scientist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center supported by a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Postdoctoral Research Fellowship. His research combines 3D bioprinting, biomaterials, and tissue engineering to develop bioengineered human lung airway models that replicate cystic fibrosis physiology and enable functional assessment of mucociliary clearance and therapeutic response. His long-term goal is to advance bioengineered airway systems for precision medicine and regeneration in chronic lung diseases.
