Erin Kavanagh, PhD

Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine

Erin W. Kavanagh is currently a postdoctoral researcher with Dr. Daniel Reichart in the Gene Center at the Ludwig Maximillian University. She recieved her a Ph.D. in Cross-Disciplinary Biomedical Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2025. Erin was coadvised by Dr. Garry Cutting in the Institute of Genetic Medicine and Dr. Jordan Green in the Biomedical Engineering Department. She received her B.S. in Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University in 2019. Her research interests include utilizing nanoparticles to deliver novel CRISPR-Cas9 therapeutics with applications to clinic settings.
