Intermountain Medical Center
I am a pulmonary and critical care physician at Intermountain Medical Center in Utah with a focus in cystic fibrosis (CF) and non-CF bronchiectasis. During my fellowship at University of Utah, I focused on the care of people with cystic fibrosis (CF), bronchiectasis, and non-tuberculous mycobacteria under the mentorship of Dr. Ted Liou, Laurie Leclair at University of Utah, and with Dr. Nathan Dean at the Intermountain Schmidt Chest Clinic. During this time, I was fortunate to receive grant funding from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) looking into type 2 inflammation in cystic fibrosis. I have coauthored papers including “Association between CFTR modulators and changes in iron deficiency markers in cystic fibrosis (J Cyst Fibrosis 2024) and “Acute kidney injury in cystic fibrosis patients treated with intravenous colistimethate sodium or tobramycin” (J antimicrobe Chemother 2022)). Additionally, I have presented research at international conferences including the North American CF Conference (NACFC) and American Thoracic Society. In addition to the above, I have an interest in community health and have volunteered for several years at the People’s Health Clinic in Park City and completed an internship at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).
