Danica Parfyonov, PhD, is a research associate in the laboratory of Dr Rebecca Darrah at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio.
Danica earned her PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience from Simon Fraser University focusing on Sleep and Circadian Rhythms. She then completed a Post Doctoral Fellowship at Stanford University in the Department of Biology investigating the impact of circadian arrhythmicity on learning and memory outcomes. Now she combines those two lines of research as they apply to Cystic Fibrosis, investigating circadian disruption and memory function in CF mouse models.
