Jonathan Guo is an Internal Medicine resident doctor at the Royal Free Hospital in the United Kingdom, and Honorary Research Associate at the School of Public Health at Imperial College London. He graduated with distinction from Imperial College School of Medicine, where he was a recipient of the President's Undergraduate Scholarship. He also holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Global Health from the Imperial College School of Public Health, from which he graduated with first class honours and was awarded the Julia Buckingham prize.
His research interests with Cystic Fibrosis centre around international disparities in diagnosis and effective treatment, with a focus on widening access to highly effective modulator therapies. He is passionate about collaboration with stakeholders in the planning, development and execution of research. Most recently he was co-author to a successful application for the addition of elexacaftor/tezacaftor/ivacaftor to the WHO Model Essential Medicines List.
