Chandra Swanson, MD

Boston Children's Hospital

Dr. Chandra Swanson, MD is a third-year Pediatric Pulmonary Fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital. Her clinical and research interests include cystic fibrosis, global health, and effective respiratory healthcare delivery in resource-limited settings. She is also interested in quality improvement and medical education. As a recipient of a Cystic Fibrosis Foundation grant under the mentorship of Dr. Ahmet Uluer, she has been working with the Jordan-International Mentoring Training Initiative to establish CF centers in Jordan. Her main research project focuses on baseline assessment of CF knowledge and clinical practice of primary care providers in Jordan, with the goal of tailoring educational efforts to improve patient time-to-referral to CF care.
