Matthew J. Wargo, PhD

University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine

Matthew J Wargo, PhD, is a Professor of Microbiology & Molecular Genetics at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine and Director of the Cellular, Molecular, and Biomedical Sciences PhD Program. Dr. Wargo received his BS in Biology from Susquehanna University, an MS in Botany from Texas A&M University, and his PhD from Dartmouth College. Dr. Wargo started his faculty position at the University of Vermont after postdoctoral research with Deb Hogan, PhD at Dartmouth and Laurie LeClair, MD (Whittaker) at University of Vermont.
