My name is Savannah Knight and I am a third year pediatric pulmonary fellow at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital. I have a particular dedication to caring for children with complex respiratory needs, especially those living with Cystic Fibrosis and patients who are tracheostomy- and ventilator-dependent. My fellowship research focuses on promoting equity in healthcare, with a particular emphasis on improving and expanding newborn screening for Cystic Fibrosis. This work reflects my broader commitment to reducing disparities in pediatric care and ensuring that all children receive timely, accurate diagnoses and appropriate interventions regardless of background or location.
