W05--Year in Review

This abstract based workshop will provide a review of research and quality improvement data from the last year. Topics such as the effects of sports and exercise participation and developing exercise protocols will be discussed. Topics such as active versus passive airway clearance techniques as well as changes in inhaled medications and airway clearance in patients on highly effective modulator therapy will be presented. Patient and caregiver perspectives on airway clearance adherence before and after starting highly effective modulators will also be presented.

Learning Objectives:

  • Review new PT/RT abstracts on exercise and airway clearance as they relate to lung health
  • examine the effects of HEMT on airway clerance routines and adherence from a patient/caregiver perspective
  • explore the development and implementation of excercise protocols
