PGR-- Physicians Grand Rounds | Ballroom 2 (Level 5)

Physician Grand Rounds is a case-based session where 4 cases are presented, usually 2 pediatric CF and 2 adult CF cases. Each case presentation is followed by an expert discussant who reviews the key learning points from the case. Cases are selected based on addressing important learning points or providing new clinical insights.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe FIES (food protein induced enterocolitis syndrome) in the context of pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy and clinical treatment of this condition.
  • Identify clinical characteristics of cystic fibrosis that concomitantly increase the likelihood of Pediatric cancer.
  • Discuss the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and human papilloma virus (HPV) infections in a person with CF after lung transplantation.
  • Recognize that exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI) can develop after years of exocrine pancreatic sufficiency in people with CF
