This workshop will focus on important considerations of caring for people with CF (PWF) and their families during various transitions across the lifespan. Themes discussed will include the transitions to becoming a caregiver of a child with CF, how to navigate school while living with CF, transitioning from pediatric to adult CF care, critical needs for PWCF as they age, and the importance of advance care planning in the transition towards more serious health concerns. This session will incorporate the presentation of novel data and clinical initiatives to improve the understanding of the unique needs during transitional periods in the lives of PWCF and their families.
