Addison Cuneo, MD

University of California San Francisco

Dr. Addison Cuneo is a pediatric gastroenterologist and clinician–scientist at the University of California, San Fransico, where she leads research on medical traumatic stress (MTS) in youth with cystic fibrosis and other chronic gastrointestinal diseases. Dr. Cuneo is a recipient of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Harry Shwachman Clinical Investigator Award, supporting her efforts to develop a medcial traumatic stress screening tool. Her ongoing work focuses on the development and impelmentaiton of MTS screening and psychoeducation programs to help medical teams recognize and respond to MTS.
