Molly Bigford, MS, RD, CACFD is a registered dietitian at Corewell Health Adult Cystic Fibrosis Care Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Molly is a highly experienced registered dietitian with over 24 years of dedicated service in the field of nutrition. For the past 14 years, Molly has been a key member of her organizations' adult CF care team and finds immense fulfillment in working with this population. She has written several educational handouts and hospital protocols to help guide specialized treatment for her patients, spoken at Corewell Health's "Grand Rounds" to educate medical professionals on palliative care, and participated in quality improvement projects with her care team including Learning and Leadership Collaborative projects through the CF Foundation.
Molly has made significant contributions to the field both locally and nationally. She serves as an RD mentor for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and has previously served as Chair of the Cystic Fibrosis Subgroup for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. In addition to her professional work, she is a passionate volunteer for her local cystic fibrosis charity organization.
A published author and sought-after professional speaker, Molly frequently shares her expertise at conferences and in publications focused on nutrition and chronic disease management. Her commitment to advancing knowledge in her field is matched by her compassionate care for her patients.
Outside of her professional life, Molly enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, and pursuing an active lifestyle that includes hiking, running, traveling, and boating.
