Fiancée of CF Patient
Renee Renna is the fiancée of Nicholas Brandner, a CF patient who received the first US dose of RCT2100 — a novel investigational inhaled messenger RNA (mRNA) therapy for people with cystic fibrosis in December 2024. They have been together for over 4 years, and Renee has been by his side for multiple other CF research studies. When she's not supporting Nick during these studies, she’s either working with him as a union stagehand at numerous music venues in the NY Tri-State area or riding in the passenger seat of his truck while he transports exotic vehicles. When they aren’t working, they love to spend time outdoors with their two dogs or try a new interesting restaurant. Renee feels really honored to have this opportunity to give her perspective on being a partner of someone with CF.
