UVA Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Program
Kristi K Gott MSN, RN, PNP-BC
I am a pediatric nurse practitioner at the University of Virginia Children’s Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia. I have been caring for CF patients and their families for the past 20 years in many types of settings but with steadfast passion regarding quality initiatives and partnering concepts. In addition to caring for patients, my current work focuses on quality improvement in the realms of CF transition and partnering as well as health and wellness in the era of HEMT. I am passionate about attending to the unique needs of each patient and family as they navigate their lives around and through CF. My best days at work are when I get to take time to share important events in the lives of my patients and their families as well as assist with problem-solving/overcoming barriers. Currently I am initiating a transition pilot program in our children’s center by sharing the awesome work of our team and helping others navigate starting their own programs.
