Daniel Peckham is Professor of Respiratory Medicine and Deputy Director of the Leeds Institute of Medical Research at the University of Leeds. He is the clinical lead for the Leeds Adult Cystic Fibrosis, Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia and Bronchiectasis Services. He pioneered the design and implementation of chronic disease electronic patient records and established a strong base for clinical and basic research in Cystic Fibrosis. Active research programs focus on CF-related inflammation, CFTR modulators, gut dysbiosis, cancer, drug allergy, big data, electronic patient records and clinical trials. He is passionate about education and was the founding Director of Education for the European Cystic Fibrosis Society.
