I graduated from the Saint Louis School of Medicine on a Health Professions Scholarship from the United States Army. I did my residency in Internal medicine at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii. I did my fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C.
I retired from the Army in 2013 and joined the Pulmonary and Critical Care service at MedStar Washtington Hospital Center.
