Melissa Richmond, MPT

Vancouver, Canada

Melissa Richmond, BSc., MPT, is a physical therapist in pediatrics in Vancouver, BC, Canada. She graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy. She joined the CF team in 2009 first working in the inpatient setting and then the outpatient CF clinic. She has experience with clinical research including adherence studies and multiple breath washout. Her clinical interests include adherence to therapy, exercise promotion and newborn screening. She worked with the CF team to incorporate remote medical monitoring using home respiratory samples and virtual health visits during the COVID-19 pandemic.
