Advocate Children's Hospital
Kimberly Watts MD, MS is the Cystic Fibrosis Center Director and the Pediatric Program Director at Advocate Children's Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. She is also the Director of Multidisciplinary Clinics at Advocate Children's and an Assistant Professor at the Chicago Medical School at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Dr. Watts graduated from the Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at Advocate Children's. She completed her fellowship training in pediatric pulmonary medicine at Lurie Children's Hospital and obtained a masters in clinical investigation at Northwestern. As an attending at Lurie Children's she was part of the Ann Harris lab studying genetic modifiers of cystic fibrosis with Dr. Harris, Dr. Susanna McColley and Dr. Mitch Drumm serving as her K award mentors. She returned to Advocate Children's in 2012 to pursue full time clinical practice and lead the CF center. She continues to work with Dr. Drumm as a clinical collaborator on cystic fibrosis projects and as a member of the Ohio Valley CF Consortium.
